Practice information and branding

Set your firm name, office address, logo, and brand colors so every client-facing report looks like it came from your practice.

Introduction

Your practice settings control the firm name, office address, logo, and brand colors that appear on client-facing reports. Getting this right once means every needs analysis PDF you export looks like it came straight from your practice. This page covers what to set, who can set it, and how it flows through.

Practice information

Open your account settings and select Practice. The fields you can set are:

  • Firm name: the name clients see on reports and inside the app.

  • Office address: street, city, postal code, and country.

Changes save as soon as you enter them.

Branding

Open the Branding panel from settings to set three visual pieces:

  • Logo: upload a PNG or JPG of your firm's logo. It appears on every needs analysis PDF.

  • Primary color: the dominant brand color across the report.

  • Secondary color: the supporting color for accents and dividers.

Colors accept any hex value. Preview the result on a generated needs analysis PDF before showing one to a client, since how the colors read on a full page can differ from the preview swatch.

Who can edit

Permissions depend on your plan:

  • Pro: the solo advisor manages their own practice info and branding.

  • Team, admins: set the firm-wide default that every member's reports use.

  • Team, members: can override the firm default if an admin has unlocked branding for the team. Otherwise, the firm default applies.

When you change the firm default on a Team plan, existing reports keep their original branding. New PDFs use the new branding.

Where it flows

Branding shows up on the needs analysis PDF: logo on the title page, firm name in the header, and the brand colors throughout. If you do not set branding, DNA's default colors and a plain title page apply.
