Billing & Subscription

Invoices and payment methods

View your billing history, update the card on file, and see advance warnings when a card is about to expire.

Introduction

The billing area is where you see your invoices, download them as PDFs, and update the card on file. This page covers how to access those records, what each one shows, and how to make changes.

Billing is admin-only on the Team plan. Pro solo users can access billing directly. Team members who are not admins see a "managed by admin" message. If you are a regular member and need a change, ask one of your team's admins.

Getting to billing

Open your account settings and select Billing. The billing panel shows your current plan, the card on file, and the full invoice history.

Viewing your invoices

The invoice list shows every charge DNA has sent to your card since you started paying. Each row includes:

  • The invoice date.

  • The amount charged.

  • The status (paid, open, overdue, and a few less common states).

  • A link to open the invoice.

Clicking an invoice opens the hosted invoice page, which you can use to download the PDF or print it.

Updating your card

Click Update next to the card on file to open the payment portal. DNA's payment provider hosts the portal, so your card details stay with them and never touch DNA's own systems. Add a new card, update the one on file, or change your billing address. Changes take effect immediately.

Expiry warnings

When the card on file is within 60 days of expiring, a warning banner appears at the top of the billing area. Update the card before it lapses so DNA can charge your next renewal without interruption.

If a card expires and a charge fails, see Failed payments.
